Each household will receive one (1) ninety-six (96) gal trash container to be placed at curbside at least four (4) feet from any poles, mailboxes, cars, and etc. on collection day. All material must be placed in the container provided. Using personal containers is not recommended as Best Way uses an automated system that may damage or destroy any containers that are not designed to be used by this system. Regular pickup is Thursday. Trash should be set out at the street Wednesday night.

These containers shall remain the sole property of Best Way and will be repaired or replaced should they become lost, stolen or damaged.

These containers may be leased at a cost of $5.00 per month and billed quarterly to the customer. You must call Best Way to set up that service 1-800-745-5714.

In addition to the regularly scheduled pickup, Best Way will provide a large item pickup on the first Tuesday of each month for items such as chairs, couches, and beds. Do to construction this year (2019) you will need to call in for pick up by the Monday before this pick up. Regular weekly pickup will not be affected.

 

Sanitation pick-up will run one day later on the following holidays.

  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

Best Way will not pickup up tires, batteries, telephone poles, railroad ties, fuel tanks, herbicide cans/buckets, animal carcasses, any type of medical waste, construction materials, asbestos, roofing material, any type of hazardous waste, liquid waste, empty or full drums that have had anything other than household waste in them and anything containing electrical components such as motors, computers, keyboards, monitors and televisions.
