We will be flushing hydrants from the railroad tracks west on May 14, 2024. This is to reduce and remove the accumulation of rust and iron in the Town’s water main distribution system. A temporary drop in water pressure is possible. The flushing may cause discolored water in the system. This discolored water is bacteriologic-ally safe and will not harm you. It is recommended that on these days you DO NOT wash white or light-colored laundry.
